Beauty Rush by Victoria's Secret

1.  Lip Gloss

There are so many kinds of this lip gloss.  It glides on pretty easy, it's a tiny bit sticky but that actually helps it stay on a bit.  They taste like they smell and give a glossy effect to your natural lips or over top of your lipstick/balm.

Recommended:  Yes

Personal Stash:  I Want Candy, Sugar High, Passion Fruit Pop, Juiced Berry, Bubble it Up, Strawberry Fizz, Twisted Citrus and others that have been discontinued - don't know off the top of my head which ones.

2.  Wet/Dry Shadow

I don't wear that much makeup but if I'm going to buy it, I want two things:  decent quality and doesn't break my budget.  Victoria's Secret has always been there when I needed something specific and they have both:  quality and cost friendly.  I've never applied the eye shadow wet but it is quite effective dry.  It is very sparkly so if that's not what you want, look elsewhere.  Goes on nicely and stays on until time to wash off - where it comes off easily.

3.  Mascara

I think mascara is one of those beauty products that has to fit personal preference.  I've been recommended tons of it where some have said "doesn't clump" or "makes lashes look insanely longer" when it fails on my lashes.  Since at La Senza in Canada, VS beauty rush makeup is 5 for $10 - I picked up some of their mascara.  I love it!  It's probably my favourite mascara ever.  It dosen't make your lashes go sky high and it doesn't add that much volume but for me, as I work in an office, I just want a mascara that makes them look nicer without looking too night club.  This mascara, for me, does not stick or clump.  The brush is simple but works perfectly!  For the price, I can't get enough.

4.  Minty Lip Shine

This is much like their regular lip gloss but has a major hit of mint!  All of the minty lip shines go on clear.  Freshens everything up!

Recommended:  Yes

Personal Stash:  Clear Mint and two others I forget which ones.

5.  Soothing Lip Balm

These little tins of balm are soft and shimmery.  Although not my favourite kind of balm to apply (with fingers unless you have a lip brush handy), it certainly does a nice job at making your lips look full and kissable.  Goes on smooth.

Recommended:  Yes

Personal Stash:  Soft Pink, Nude, Clear.

6.  Glossy Shinestick

Not bad but probably my least favourite of VS lip products so far.  It leaves a slight tint of colour on your lips while making them appear much smoother.  The only reason why I'm not a huge fan is the flavours/scents.  The tint is nice though.

Recommended:  If you like the scents, yes

Personal Stash:  Mango Tango, Colada Love, Citrus Sorbet.

7.  Body Drink Lotion

These lotions are creamy and blend into skin easily.  They smell amazing and make your body feel superb after use.

Recommended:  Yes

Personal Stash:  Candy Baby, Juiced Berry, Strawberry Fizz.

8.  Double Body Mist

The double body mist is neat as you have to shake it first - the appearance is fun!  Much like their Secret Garden mists, this can be applied anywhere and leaves a trail of freshness behind you.  Definitely good for those who are too sensitive to regular perfume.

Recommended:  Yes

Secret Garden by Victoria's Secret

1.  Body Mist

A wonderful scented mist that you can spray all over.  Not as strong as their eau to toilette, the mist allows you to take this anywhere to refresh and any time without overpowering anyone's senses.

Recommended:  Yes

Personal Stash:  Amber Romance

2.  Body Butter

The thick creaminess of body butter, mmm, the best!  Perfect for anytime but ideal for after a shave or bath - this stuff sinks in deep and leaves everything feeling and smelling wonderful.  One of my favourites.

Recommended:  Yes

Personal Stash:  Amber Romance, Love Spell, Vanilla Lace.

3.  Eau de Toilette

Victoria's Secret lightly scented perfume.  I say lightly because it's definitely not overpowering but it is more potent than their mists.  Buy these in the scents you love most as it is the strongest of all the products.  Tiny enough to carry anywhere!

4.  Hand and Body Lotion

I am waiting for VS to make this in a smaller "travel" size for my purse.  Amazing on the hands ... you'll have people wondering who smells so good.  Trust me.
