Hilary Duff looks like she's been doing a lot of pilates lately and fashionably so.  Here are some of her workout looks:

 loving the shirt.  This woman is simply gorgeous and knows how to work casual workout clothes, dressy wear and gowns, or mixing casual with style.  She seems really happy and I'm happy for her.  She's definitely one of my fashion fav celebs.  She also motivates me to workout (not that I don't at all, I just don't do it enough!).  She looks great - cannot get enough :)

Shopping.  But what's the most difficult is when VS comes out with a new scent from their Secret Garden collection ... I had to try them.  They also had the Island Waters limited edition back (that I mentioned in an earlier post) ... I HAD to buy it because I thought I'd never get it.

Coconut Water & Pineapple ... sounds good to me.

Mango Nectar and Hibiscus ... I have the mist and love the sweet smell.  Couldn't pass up buying because it will be gone soon.

One of the new scents.  They took the three most popular and made them "midnight" so I'm hoping they are as good as the originals.  "Tempting Berry and Sultry Woods".

Ordered again ... yes, problem.  But after the last order I realized I should have bought more pants for running/pilates.  Firstly, during the semi-annual sale, they didn't have lots of sizes left yet after they did ... weird.  They also further reduced some of the items.  I didn't spend too much (damn shipping & taxes though).

 these were $9.99 each, I got three pairs because I have them in the colour shown and they are awesome for running & pilates.  The three pairs I bought are all a charcoal grey colour except have different colour folds (one is light orange, one is light yellow, and the other is light pink).

 also $9.99 - I got them in black with a green fold.

I also bought a tan bikini bottom because sadly, the leopard bikini I ordered in my last entry - they were all out :( I am so sad but love the top so much I couldn't give it up.  Hopefully the bottoms match lol.

Figures though I placed the order yesterday and today they have an extra 30% off on clearance - that would have been ALL I ordered.  Bummer :( oh well.  I really want the bandeau top seen in the first photo in this entry in white and beige.  I have a black one and it comes in handy.  I might be able to find them around here though.

Yes, I have one.  This is my last VS order for a LONG time I promise.  The reason for ordering was to get the free CND shipping again and that the Secret Garden were 8 for $35 again AND the bikini I wanted for a long time was $13.98 (well, they didn't have the colour I originally wanted but that's ok).  It's so hard not to order when it's the semi-annual sale, especially at the end where they've reduced items even further.  The cardigan I bought was $6.99 with an additional 30% off so only $4.89!  They also came out with a new piece to the Secret Moments collection - Body Scrub.  Of course this made me want to try it so I ordered 3 more to get the 3 for $21 deal.  Overall, I bought 1 lacie underwear (sale $3.99), 2 bikinis (one for $13.98 and the other for $19.98 - wanted this one since I saw it too), 11 Secret Garden items (8 for $35, then they had two limited editions left that weren't a part of the 8 for $35, and I also bought the deep conditioning balm because I needed one more item to get the free shipping lol and I wanted to try it anyway), 3 Secret Moments items (for $21), 1 Beauty Rush shimmer cream ($5.99 sale), 1 pj top ($7.99), and 1 cardigan ($4.89).  I've always had an obsession with lotions and body mists, it's really bad lol.

I went to the States on June 25th and bought three Bath and Body Works items (all in the scent Sweet Pea) - the body mist, the cooling mist, and the body cream.  It aws all 75% off, it cost me $9 for all three, pretty damn good.  I also got two GAP hoodies for $30 (so warm, perfect for camping this August), two GAP t-shirts (so soft), two Old Navy t-shirts, a pair of running shorts, some leopard flats, a new water dish for the dogs, a picture frame, and I think that's it.

I did buy some things for the house the other day - some canisters for the kitchen counter (going to fill with pasta), a Brita water filter 10c jug, and some random things (did buy two candles, they have Sweet Pea at Wal-Mart and it smells the same as Bath & Body Works - it's a pretty big candle, only $5!  Also got one called Cranberry Mandarin).  Anyway, I'm going to the States again on July 9th with two friends, going to try and control my spending because Adam's new brakes for his car were over $500!  So we have to watch what we spend but that extra pay cheque in June was AWESOME (the only thing that has to be paid three times when you get three cheques in one month is mortgage so the rest you SAVE!).

 they didn't have white left (what I wanted when I saw this long time ago) but for less than $5, you can't go wrong.  You couldn't view the colour I bought (purple tan multicolour it said) but it looks to be a nice sweater for summer.

Very excited today as I received my VS package.  All the photos are in the last entry aside from the Kissing in Paris Secret Moments Body Cream as that's on back order.

Before I get to my reviews let me give you a quick update on my running and pilates.  Running is going well, for someone who has NEVER ran before or been totally active, it's amazing that I'm up to running 20 minutes straight in only one and a half months.  Considering we only run twice or three times a week too ... I'm really proud of myself for not giving up.  Yesterday we went running but had to cut the run short (we usually do 4.5K) but this time it was only 3K because lightning was everywhere and good thing we did because about 10 minutes after we got back it downpoured like crazy and the storm got worse.  However, during that run we started to incorporate some extras.  So we pumped our arms up for ten reps then out to the side then in front and then did 10 "blocks" with our arms.  Well let me tell you I can feel it in my abs today haha holy crap I'm a little sore but wow.

Our pilates class is going good.  This is helping my neck and back feel less strained from work (I sit at a computer all day after all).  Really enjoying this and so glad our work is providing it for us.

Just a few ratings with some words...

SECRET GARDEN:
Passionate Kisses - Body Lotion - I haven't actually used it yet but I smelt it and it smells really good.  This is an older SG so the scent description is not on the bottle.  I looked it up online but I forget now.  Anyway it smells like wild or black cherries so I'm assuming cherries had to be in the scent - let me look it up now ...yep - Cherry, Vanilla, and Musk.  I'm giving this smell 4.5/5.

SECRET MOMENTS:
Room 504 - Body Mist - firstly, the bottle designs for this collection are so cute.  This one is amber and passion fruit.  Once settled into the skin, this smells very good and does go with the name - very sexy and sultry - definitely a must for a weekend away ;) - 4/5.

At First Sight - Body Mist - this is the violet and bergamot scent and I didn't know if I would like it because I was unsure but ... I love this one.  Another one that matches the name given.  It may become a favourite - I have to find out soon because if so, I want the rest of the collection.  5/5.

Girls Night Out - Body Lotion - definitely my least favourite of the Moments collection.  It isn't anything special.  It's peony and waterlily by the way - 3/5.

Good Day Sunshine - Body Cream - I love VS cream, it's so thick and creamy and keeps you moisturized.  I'm not sure about this scent ... it's not strong enough, it's too subtle as though once you put it on it disappears.  I haven't actually used it - just tested and smelled it out of the cap so hopefully it turns out better than my initial thought.  Oh it's peach and blue freesia - 3/5.

Island Escape - Body Cream - I know I reviewed this.  5/5.  Get it.

CLOTHING:
Yoga crop leggings - Navy with Blue Foldover - loooving these leggings omg.  For $12.99, I should really get more.  They actually make my butt look smaller haha, perfect for my running and pilates class ;) - 5/5.

Cotton Pant with Beaded Belt - Brown - I got the 32" but probably should have gotten the 34" length.  It's long enough but I think the 34" would have looked more beachy, I don't know.  Comfy as hell though, perfect for a casual summer night.  3.5/5.

Tunic Off the Shoulder T-shirt - Cobblestone aka Grey - LOVE IT.  I tried it on and it looked great.  5/5.

Ruched Tunic Tank - Orange coral type colour - was looking forward to this one because since it came out I've been eyeing it and every time I went to buy it was sold out in EVERY colour in my size.  Finally it's available so I snatched it up.  Firstly, even though it says in the description, it's only ruched on one side ... weird.  Secondly, I thought it was skinnier strapped (it was called skinny strap tunic).  Anyway, it still looks nice and love the length.  3.5/5.

Angel Sleep Tee - Orange with pink writing & Grey with red writing - soooo comfy, I can't stress this enough.  Material is soft and cozy and it's the perfect length for a nighty.  5/5.

Angel Sleep Tee in Long Sleeve - Deep purple with silver logo, Pink with silver logo & Dark red with gold writing - same as above but longer sleeves for cooler nights (or you can roll up the sleeves).  Perfect for lounging.  5/5.

Yes, I'm gonna go broke BUT this will be my last order for a while (gonna try not to buy anything in June or July if I can help it).  Plus I got an AMAZING coupon - FREE CANADIAN SHIPPING !!!  They NEVER have this and it worked so of course I had to order in case that deal went away.

It may seem like I spend a lot of money but I really only buy from Victoria's Secret.  Obviously I shop at the mall too but not very often and I usually don't pick up anything over $20.  I did buy a dress yesterday for $25 and three summer shirts (one is a one shoulder flowery silky top, the other a plain purple tunic t-shirt, and the last a coral button up shirt for work) all four items were just over $40 because the shirts were on sale.

Here's what I ordered:

this was the only one that was in stock.  They had three old scents - Honeysuckle Belle, Midnight Mimosa, and the one above and had the body lotion, body cream, and body mist - all were backordered to June 16 but this one.  I decided not to backorder the others as their scent descriptions didn't appeal to me that much.

I got the tiny version of this in the last order and it is amazing - reminds me of the beach SO much ... had to order the large size.
this is backordered until June 6th at least ... but I didn't want to wait until my next order so I preordered it.  I hope to get it as soon as possible - I love the design and I had to get this because I just went to Paris this month!

the pants I ordered from the last batch were great - so I ordered some $12.99 leggings in colour shown.  These will be great for my pilates class because the pants I'm using now always roll down my leg when they are up and since it's at work, I don't really want everyone seeing my legs :P

these pants were only $9.99 and I thought they would be great for summer.  They are cotton gauze pants with a beaded belt.  Cute.  In colour shown.

Well, at least I don't buy much of anything else :P but I have a VS obsession - love everything they make whether it's beauty, clothes, swim or lingerie.  I got my last order before my trip to England so here are a few reviews on the items below:

Dream Angels Must Have Gift Box Set
This is presented SO cutely and comes with a bookmark, yay!  I can't review all the scents yet because I've only tried two.  The two I tried so far are Dream Angels Heavenly Kiss and Dream Angels Desire.  Heavenly Kiss is amazing - too bad they don't carry it in the large bottles anymore.  Desire wasn't so much a hit as Heavenly Kiss ... at first.  After the first initial sprays and it sank in I actually started to really like it.  Too bad these bottles are so tiny but they are very cute.  I don't know if I'll be able to throw them away once the perfume is gone!

Sexy Little Things Noir Eau de Parfum Mini Gift Set
I didn't know if I was going to like this because I could have SWORN when it came out and when La Senza was still carrying VS products, I tested it and hated it but maybe that was something else.  In any event, I really like this.  The top of the pump is not very stable (looks like it's gonna break off soon) but it's probably because it's only a 0.25oz bottle.  4.5/5.

PINK Rollerball Fragrances
These are so cute and easy to throw into your purse.  The smells are kind of strong (a little too sweet) but once on they aren't that bad.  They glide on easily and leave you lightly scented and with a hint of sparkle!  4/5.

Lip Lacquer in True (Caramel Beige)
The colour doesn't quite look like the one on the site but in a good way, it has more colour and isn't as shimmery.  Watch when you open it the first time as it is more liquidy than I thought and I got some down the side of the tube.  It's not very sticky but still has some but the colour it leaves is quite nice and stays on for a while.  Is it worth the price (I believe they are $10 each) ... no, but not bad.  4/5.

Most comfy pants ... ever.  GET SOME NOW.  5/5!!

So the Semi-Annual Sale has started and that can only mean one thing:  here goes my paycheque.  I put in a large order that I should be getting next week, hopefully.  I am planning on making another order near the end of the sale to see what's left and what items had their prices reduced further.  However, I might not wait TOO long as I really want the miracle bra that is on sale for $24.99 before they run out of my size.  Here's what I got (missing ONE item - a secret garden body mist in SECRET CRUSH as the photo is no longer available).

My latest VS purchase.  So much other stuff I want!!!

The Must Have Gift Set - was eyeing this and couldn't resist.  They are just mini (0.25oz, approx 7ml I think) but perfect for car or purse.  Besides, this will give me a chance to find out which one I like best.  However, I'm a little disappointed because Dream Angels Wish is not included in this set and it's still an active perfume.  Some in the set are now discontinued and so I have no doubt that the one I like most will be one of those.  I am going to order a bigger size of the Dream Angels Wish to have but will do so on my next order.  More on that later.

I cannot wait for this shimmer spray.  This will be perfect for summer!  Not only will it give my hair a sparkle but I can use it on my body too!

So Sexy Shampoo & Conditioner ... have gone down in price since I bought ($6.99 is what I paid, each).  It's so frustrating that this always happens, as soon as I make an order (and I usually only buy clearance) it always gets even FURTHER reduced later.  I'm looking forward to this, I'm expecting it to smell very fresh and beautiful.

So Sexy Instant Detangler is a must have for me since my hair is pinstraight and gets tangled very easily.  I have been without one (detangler) for a while now and really miss it.  The last one I had smelt like coconut, I'm hoping this one has a great scent too!  Perfect for beach and after swim.

The mini gift sets of 0.25oz perfumes.  I bought the PINK and Sexy Little Things Noir.  I was planning on getting the Very Sexy as well but by the time I ordered it was sold out.  I may get the mini $15 gift set next time I order because I want to know what this one smells like.  I would actually like to take a trip to the States and go to one of the fragrance stores and test out then buy what I like.  Price reduced as usual.

The rollerball fragrances from PINK.  I bought three of these (Sparkle, Fruity and Bright, and Sweet and Tart I believe).  They have also gone down in price by $1.  I'm really looking forward to these as ones I can throw into my beach bag or purse so I can stay smelling sweet while at work all day.

I bought the lip lacquer in TRUE.  I want to try this ... not usually one to spend this much on a gloss but we'll see if it's any better than the cheapies.  Also want to try their lipstick if I'm bold to spend $12.

The Lacie I bought for dresses so there won't be any lines.  I have a similar pair but it has a bow at the front ... which looks like a bump when wearing a dress :(

Fleece pant ... in the colour that is magnified on the right.  These should be super comfy.  Went down by $4, very annoying :P

Time moves quickly!  The 5K run is April 25th - NEXT SUNDAY!  We did a 5K run on Wednesday ... I think it was about 40 minutes but I was really pushing myself, actually felt like I wanted to die haha.  I think I've lost some ... in inches around my hips the only reason why is because my pants seem just a bit looser!  Woohoo.  I will probably do a practice run tonight (even though it's FREEZING today) or Sunday.  We have two training runs with the team before the race - Monday and Wednesday.  Even though I wanted to stop while doing the 5K on Wed ... I pushed because I knew that a) I could do it and b) I'm doing this for me.  If I want to get in shape I have to push myself to the limit.  I finally believe in myself and have enough confidence to say that I do deserve this!
